Replacement Remote
1. Locate the Programming Connector in the passenger side trunk. It is a plastic connector with one wire leading to it. It is not plugged into anything. You may have to pull back the trim to access the connector.
2. The programming connector should have one terminal. Ground this terminal to the trunk hatch or antenna.
The door locks will cycle (lock and unlock by themselves) to indicate that programming mode has begun.
Make sure the programming connector stays grounded throughout the procedure.
3. Press any button on the remote once. The door locks will cycle once. That remote has been accepted and all previous remotes have been erased.
4. If a second remote is to be programmed, press any button on that remote. The door locks will cycle.
5. Remove ground of programming terminal.
